Permaculture
Founded in Australia in the late nineteen seventies by Bill Mollison, the accepted definition for permaculture is: a design system for creating sustainable and regenerative human environments.
Permaculture fosters relationships various elements and disciplines including edible landscapes, animals, organic gardening, herbs, ponds, natural and green-building, alternative energy and food production. It includes small scale intensive plantings and designing ecologically sound, and self-maintaining landscapes.
